Raw IP addresses are not stored in QR scan records. Limited request data is used to create operational context and rotating anonymous estimates.

Is a scan the same as a person?

No. One person can scan more than once, and automated systems can request a link. aQRify reports these distinctions where possible.

Why are automated scans recorded?

Messaging apps, security tools, and link preview services may open a URL. Showing them separately makes the activity easier to interpret.

Why is location only a country code?

aQRify uses an available trusted country signal and does not claim precise GPS or street-level scanner location.
