Rules for responsible use
These requirements apply to accounts, QR content, redirect destinations, uploads, analytics, exports, and related aQRify services.
Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to aQRify accounts, static and dynamic QR codes, short links, redirect destinations, uploaded brand assets, analytics, exports, and related services.
You are responsible for the content you encode, the destinations you select, the audiences you target, and the permissions required for your use.
Prohibited harmful activity
Do not use aQRify for phishing, credential theft, malware, fraud, impersonation, deceptive redirects, spam, harassment, exploitation, illegal goods or services, non-consensual intimate content, or content that creates a serious risk of harm.
Do not use QR codes to conceal a destination in order to bypass security review, platform moderation, sanctions, age restrictions, legal requirements, or an organization's network controls.
Platform and infrastructure abuse
Do not probe, scan, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to aQRify, another user's workspace, the redirect service, analytics, billing systems, or administrative tools.
Do not automate account creation, evade plan limits or rate limits, interfere with service availability, or resell aQRify as an unapproved generic redirection or tracking service.
Privacy, tracking, and consent
Do not use aQRify to collect sensitive information without a lawful basis, appropriate security, and required notices or consent. Do not encode passwords, private keys, authentication secrets, or payment-card data directly into publicly distributed QR codes.
If you use QR codes with customers, employees, students, patients, or visitors, you are responsible for the privacy notices and consent required for your campaign and destination.
Intellectual property and brand assets
Only upload or select logos, images, files, trademarks, and other content that you own or are authorized to use. A third-party logo does not imply that aQRify is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by that third party.
Do not use aQRify to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
Enforcement
aQRify may investigate reports, disable QR codes or destinations, block domains, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with authorities or rights holders when reasonably necessary.
Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, repetition, risk to scanners, legal obligations, and the reliability of the platform. Immediate action may be taken when delay could increase harm.
Reporting concerns
Use the report link associated with a aQRify short code when available. Include the short code, the reason for concern, and non-sensitive details that help the trust and safety review.
Do not include passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical details, or other sensitive personal data in an abuse report.
