How Dynamic QR Codes Work
A dynamic QR code encodes a stable short link rather than the final campaign destination. The redirect service resolves that short code and sends the scanner to the currently active destination.
What matters most
- The printed QR image stays the same while the destination changes.
- Redirect availability becomes part of campaign reliability.
- Status, expiration, abuse controls, and analytics belong in the redirect path.
Recommended workflow
- Create a dynamic QR in an authenticated workspace.
- Publish the aQRify short-link QR after testing it.
- Update the destination or status without replacing the printed artwork.
Questions and answers
Does editing a destination change the QR image?
No. The code continues to point to the same short link while aQRify updates the redirect destination.
